Our Mission / Vision
Our Mission
The Living Memorial will create a space in which we honor and celebrate our heroes while educating future generations about the meaning of service and sacrifice to our country. Young people can learn that liberty and safety are attained through selfless acts of kindness and valor. Families and friends who have suffered loss can visit a solemn place of remembrance.
Our Vision
The Arizona Heroes Memorial is designed to be a hallowed place honoring those outstanding individuals, past and present, who dedicated their lives to ensure our American values. The Memorial will be open to the public, allowing for a dedicated space in which to remember and learn about our heroes. Such a physical space is unique to Arizona.
By creating such a space in which people may gather to remember and to learn, we honor the past and educate future generations about the meaning of service and sacrifice to our country. It is time to recognize, honor and remember the living and fallen veterans, first responders and healthcare workers together.
This beautiful living Memorial will be located on 2.5 acres, in full view of the Catalina Mountain’s Pusch Ridge. It will contain art, monuments and landscaping that are symbolic to all branches of the Department of Defense, First Responders and Healthcare Workers.
Why It Matters
Historically, the roles of the military, first responders, and healthcare workers have often been separated. Today, more than ever, it is time to recognize these living and fallen individuals who showed an unprecedented act of valor. These groups bravely defend and sacrifice for our safety and welfare. This space allows us to honor the past and educate future generations about the meaning of service and duty to our country.
