Projects & Programs

We are excited to offer ongoing opportunities in which the public can participate as the Memorial continues to grow and develop. Our projects seek to enrich our community, as well as communities beyond Oro Valley.

The Project Progress Report 2023

As of January 1st, 2023 we have made great strides in building the memorial, thanks to some of our major sponsors, including WLB Group, Spencer Construction, WRA Investments, and Parsons Steel. They have stepped up to the plate to sponsor critical elements of the memorial build, including design, project management, excavation, concrete foundation, and steel work. With their help, the construction phase will soon move forward.

On-site Education at the Amphitheatre/Pavilion

(Coming Soon!)

The Memorial will provide  educational opportunities for visitors at its 3,000 seat amphitheatre. Stay tuned for information  regarding on-site tours and presentations given by community leaders,  grade-specific learning opportunities, as well as community activities  showcasing the rich history of our past and present heroes.

Junior Ambassador Program

Available Fall 2024

The Junior Ambassador  Program is perfect for high school and college students looking for a  community service project. Students can explore the various disciplines  of the non-profit world through the AHM Junior Ambassador program. This  program will be available in the Fall of 2024.

Youth and Adult Volunteer Program

A goal of the Memorial is to provide opportunities to instill a sense of hope and  purpose for something larger than one’s self. Volunteer opportunities for youth and adults are coming soon.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers who are committed to bringing this project to life.
